A week and a half after the USF women’s basketball game against Stetson was canceled, the Bulls announced Wednesday afternoon that the game will return to its originally scheduled date.
Meanwhile, USF’s men’s game against LSU originally scheduled for Saturday at 2:30 p.m. has been canceled due to contact-tracing issues in the Tigers program. The Bulls (3-2) will take on Wofford (2-1) instead.
The women’s team (2-1) will tip off against Stetson (0-0) Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Yuengling Center.
“Stetson has since determined it is able to compete on the originally scheduled date,” the USF release stated.
Initially, the contest was canceled due to coronavirus-related issues in the Hatters program.
The game is one of four non-conference games on USF’s schedule this season.
Stetson will play its first game of the season Thursday against Edward Waters in DeLand. USF will be its second opponent of the season, after the Hatters’ first four games were canceled.
