Kickoff, TV information announced for Gators, USF, FSU, UCF and Miami Hurricanes

The first few kickoff times of the college football season are set, including what likely will be a September scorcher between the Gators and USF.

Florida will open its season Sept. 4 opener at home against Florida Atlantic with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on the SEC Network. The Gators will travel to Raymond James Stadium the next week for a noon game that will shown on ABC. UF’s Week 3 game is the previously announced 3:30 CBS contest against Alabama.

Here are the other early notable kickoff times and TV designations announced Thursday:

USF

Thursday, Sept. 2: at North Carolina State (7:30, ACC Network)

Sept. 11: vs. UF, noon, ABC

Sept. 18: vs. Florida A&M, 7, ESPN+

Florida State

Sunday, Sept. 5: vs. Notre Dame, 7:30, ABC (previously announced)

Sept. 11: vs. Jacksonville State, 8, ACC Network

Sept. 18: at Wake Forest, 3:30, ABC or ESPN

Miami

Sept. 4: vs. Alabama in Atlanta, 3:30, ABC (previously announced)

Sept. 11: vs. Appalachian State, 7 p.m., ESPN2 or ESPNU

Sept. 18: vs. Michigan State, noon, ABC or ESPN

UCF

Thursday, Sept. 2: vs. Boise State, 7, ESPN

Sept. 11: vs. Bethune-Cookman, 7:30, ESPN+

Friday, Sept. 17: at Louisville, 7:30, ESPN

Also Thursday, Tampa’s Gasparilla Bowl announced it will be played at 7 p.m. on Dec. 23 at Raymond James Stadium. It will air on ESPN.
