TAMPA — Elena Tsineke scored a team-high 25 points, including 10 in overtime, as USF defeated Temple 75-67 Saturday at the Yuengling Center.
Dulcy Fankam Mendjiadeu added 16 points, while Bethy Mununga and Elisa Pinzan chipped in with 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Bulls (14-5, 4-1 AAC) against the Owls (8-7, 3-1).
With the score tied at 59 at the end of regulation, Tsineke scored 10 of USF’s 16 points in the extra session. A driving layup by Temple’s Mia Davis with seven seconds left in regulation sent the game to overtime. She finished with a game-high 26 points.
