College Football Playoff scenarios: Does UCF have any chance at all?

Maybe the Knights can sneak in with a blowout win over Memphis and enough chaos elsewhere. Maybe.

My best guess on playoff scenarios entering conference championship weekend:

No. 1 Alabama: In with a win over Georgia; probably in with a loss

No. 2 Clemson: In with a win over Pitt; possibly in with a loss

No. 3 Notre Dame: Already in

No. 4 Georgia: Definitely in with a win over 'Bama; could be in with a close loss (especially if Ohio State and Oklahoma lose, too)

No. 5 Oklahoma: Probably in with a win over Texas and an Alabama victory

No. 6 Ohio State: Probably in with a win and decisive victories by 'Bama and Texas; must destroy Northwestern to have a shot at passing a Big-12 champion Oklahoma

No. 8 UCF: Needs to crush Memphis and pray for chaos with blowout losses by Clemson, Georgia, Oklahoma and Ohio State
