BEREA, Ohio — Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel likely will miss Saturday's preseason game against the Bucs at Raymond James Stadium because of persistent right elbow soreness. Despite extra rest and not throwing for two days in practice this week, coach Mike Pettine said Wednesday that Cleveland will "err on the side of caution." An MRI exam did not reveal any structural damage, but Pettine acknowledged for the first time that Manziel has had elbow issues since high school. If the second-year quarterback is out, the Browns are down to starter and former Buc Josh McCown and backup Thad Lewis. Manziel was not available for interviews.
