ST. PETERSBURG — Shorecrest hosted its homecoming and the Chargers (4-0) kept their undefeated streak alive. The Riverview Bell Creek Academy Panthers (2-3), a first-year team, couldn't hold back the rushing power of junior running back Orrin Fredericks, who scored four of the seven Charger touchdowns.

Stars of the game: Fredericks controlled the first half and had 196 rushing yards, while Drew Zolper controlled the second half. He had 71 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Play of the game: On fourth down at Bell Creek's own 30-yard line, a Panthers punt was blocked by the Chargers' RJ Ayers and was recovered by Jonathan Dacres, who took it to the 5-yard line. Next, Fredericks ran the ball 5 yards for a touchdown.

Key stat: Chargers quarterback Will Lovelace went 5 for 8 passing. There were only six penalties for the whole game.

Audible: "I don't think Shorecrest (football) has had a 4-0 record, at the start of the season, for maybe the last 20 years. That's a big thing for us right now. We are still a work in progress and are still learning what we do well at." — Shorecrest coach Steve Dudley
