Florida State has honored two football greats.
After Friday's practice, the Seminoles told associate head coach Odell Haggins that he has been voted into FSU's athletics hall of fame. The defensive tackles coach is being honored for his standout playing career as a defensive lineman from 1986-89. He also guided the Seminoles to two wins as interim coach after Jimbo Fisher abruptly left to take over Texas A&M and has been on FSU's staff since 1994.
Haggins will be honored with an induction ceremony on Sept. 7.
FSU also announced that former star receiver Peter Warrick will have his No. 9 jersey retired. The Bradenton native is one of the most electric athletes in school history. The two-time All-American helped FSU win the 1999 national title.
