Former Florida State defensive back Terrell Buckley and Miami head coach Dennis Erickson are among the 2019 inductees into the College Football Hall of Fame.The class was announced Monday morning in advance of tonight's College Football Playoff national championship between No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Clemson.Buckley will be the seventh Seminole inducted into the hall of fame. The 1991 Jim Thorpe Award winner and unanimous All-American led the nation with 12 interceptions that season. That's still an FSU record, along with his 21 career picks. Buckley also scored seven career touchdowns (four interception returns, three punt returns).Erickson went 63-9 and won two national championships during his run at Miami (1989-94). He was also the first coach to win Pac-10 coach of the year honors at three different schools (Washington State, Oregon State and Arizona State).Former Florida A&M coach Joe Taylor was also among the inductees. He was the first coach in Rattlers history to win 25 games in his first three seasons before retiring in 2012.
