Former East Lake High and Florida State receiver George Campbell announced Wednesday that he is transferring to Penn State.

Campbell, a former five-star recruit, had been in the NCAA’s transfer portal for a while, so the move is not a surprise.

Injuries limited his production at FSU, where he appeared in only 22 games. The 6-foot-4 athlete finished his Seminoles career with 13 receptions.
