Week 3 viewing guide: Some college football is always better than no college football, right?

Matt Baker: The marquee game is apparently Iowa-Iowa State. Hooray. Plus, our week 3 predictions.

Lamest time window: Take your pick on a weak slate. There will be upsets (there always are), but this week lacks marquee matchups. Plan accordingly.

Noon: Upset watch: I’m not sold on No. 21 Maryland, so maybe Temple can challenge the Terps?

3:30: No. 17 UCF’s big non-conference game comes against a reeling, banged-up Stanford team.

4: A lame week means Iowa-Iowa State is today’s best matchup. Hooray.

7: No way Kentucky knocks off No. 9 Florida for the second year in a row … right?

7:30: Beating No. 25 Virginia on the road would be the kind of proof-of-concept win Willie Taggart’s Seminoles need.
