Florida college football kickoff times, TV info announced for early weeks

The Gators, Seminoles, Bulls, Hurricanes and Knights all learned more details about their schedule Thursday.

Florida, Florida State, USF, Miami and the rest of the state learned a handful of kickoff times and TV information Thursday for the 2022 college football season.

Here are all the start times and broadcast details we know so far:

Florida

Sept. 3: vs. Utah, 7 p.m., ESPN

Sept. 10: vs. Kentucky, 7 p.m., ESPN

Sept. 17: vs. USF, 7:30 p.m., SEC Network

Oct. 1: vs. Eastern Washington, noon, SEC Network+/ESPN+

Oct. 29: vs. Georgia (Jacksonville), 3:30 p.m., CBS*

Nov. 25 (Friday): at Florida State, 7:30 p.m., ABC*

Florida State

Aug. 27: vs. Duquesne, 5 p.m., ACC Network

Sept. 4 (Sunday): vs. LSU (New Orleans), 7:30 p.m., ABC*

Sept. 16: at Louisville, 7 p.m., ESPN

Nov. 25 (Friday): vs. Florida, 7:30 p.m., ABC*

USF

Sept. 3: vs. BYU, 4 p.m., ESPNU

Sept. 10: vs. Howard, 7 p.m., ESPN+

Sept. 17: at Florida, 7:30 p.m., SEC Network

Nov. 18 (Friday): at Tulsa, 9 p.m., ESPN2

Sept. 3: vs. Bethune-Cookman, 3:30 p.m., ACC Network

Sept. 1 (Thursday): vs. South Carolina State, 7 p.m., ESPN+

Sept. 9 (Friday): vs. Louisville, 7:30 p.m., ESPN2

Sept. 17: at Florida Atlantic, 7:30 p.m., CBS Sports Network

Oct. 13 (Thursday): vs. Temple, 7 p.m., ESPN

Also Thursday, ESPN announced that Tampa’s Gasparilla Bowl will take place on Dec. 23. A time has not yet been set, but it’s scheduled to be shown on ESPN.

The Tampa Bay Bowl (formerly called the Outback Bowl) will have a noon kickoff on Jan. 2 and air on ESPN2.

Most kickoff times and viewing options are announced a week or two before the games.
