Services set for Middleton’s Hezekiah B. Walters

Both events for the Middleton football player who died last week will be open to the public

Two services for Middleton football player Hezekiah B. Walters have been set, and the public is invited to both.

A wake will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Bible-Based Fellowship Church of Temple Terrace, 8718 N. 46th St., Tampa. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the same church.

Walters, 14, was an incoming freshman who collapsed and died during conditioning drills on June 11. His body temperature was 102 degrees when he arrived in the emergency room according to an investigative summary released by the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner.
