Former Armwood High star quarterback Noah Johnson is looking for a new home.

Johnson intends to leave Alcorn State as a grad transfer and wants to return to Florida, he told the Tampa Bay Times on Thursday morning.

Johnson led Armwood to a pair of appearances in the state title game before heading to Alcorn State – one of the few places that wanted the dynamic athlete as a quarterback. The 6-foot, 185-pound Johnson was the SWAC’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2018 and was responsible for 59 touchdowns with the Braves.
