Alex Killorn's curled mustache has become a minor sensation, but it started as a joke before Game 3 of the Stanley Cup final at Chicago. "Guys were just laughing," Killorn said. But someone took a photo of it, and the image spread. It became big enough that USA Today wrote about the underappreciation of Killorn's "incredible, old-timey mustache." Killorn said he doesn't use gel or other product on it. It was slightly curled as he stood at his locker Friday not long after his post-practice shower. "Maybe it's natural," Killorn said.
Quote of the day
"This is the time of our lives. There's two teams left playing in June. If we're not having fun doing this, then why are we doing this?"
Lightning coach Jon Cooper
Lightning captain Steven Stamkos said he expects more from himself than his current six-game goal drought. But linemate Alex Killorn isn't worried. "It's just a matter of time before he scores, right?" Killorn said. "I know he might feel pressure. We don't feel like we put pressure on him to score. There's a bunch of guys that can (score)."
