Will tonight be the night?

With a win in any of their next three games, the Lightning will advance to the Eastern Conference final for the fourth time in six seasons.

Tampa Bay made it as far as the Stanley Cup final in 2015 before losing to the Blackhawks. The Lightning were eliminated in the conference final by the Penguins in 2016 and Capitals in 2018.

So, why wait?

The Lightning can bounce the Bruins from the conference semifinals for the second time in three seasons and turn their attention to the Flyers or Islanders as soon as tonight’s Game 5 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

But it won’t be easy. With Boston’s season hanging by a thread, the Lightning know they will get the Bruins’ best effort.

Follow along with us, starting at 7 p.m., as the Lightning look to move one round closer to a potential Stanley Cup.
