‘What. A. Moment’: Twitter reacts to Lightning’s Stanley Cup win

The Cup is coming back to Tampa Bay for the second time in franchise history.

The Lightning have done it. Sixteen years after their first Stanley Cup win, the franchise won its second with a 2-0 win over Dallas in Game 6 on Monday night.

Lightning captain Steven Stamkos hoisted the Cup first and Victor Hedman won the Conn Smythe for the league’s MVP.

Here’s what Twitter had to say about the Stanley Cup win:

The Cup itself referenced this now infamous “Getting the band together” jet ski video.

The other hometown teams were quick to offer congrats, including from Bucs coach Bruce Arians.
