TAMPA — Lightning forward Alex Killorn will have played his last game of the 2020-21 season if his team wins the Stanley Cup tonight.

Killorn, who has been sidelined with an injury the past two games, also will not play in Game 4. As in the previous two contests, Mathieu Joseph will draw in for action.

Killorn skated alongside his teammates in Monday’s pre-game warmups, but was scratched when roster spots were finalized.

On Monday morning, coach Jon Cooper was uncertain about the veteran’s status.

“I can’t sit here and make any promises and promises of if (Killorn’s) gonna play or not,” Cooper said. “If not, it’ll be the same lineup as (Friday), but he’s definitely inching his way closer.”

Joseph, meanwhile, will play in his fifth game this postseason. On Friday, he logged the first postseason point of his career with an assist on Tyler Johnson’s second-period goal.

Before Game 2 — Joseph’s first one back in the lineup — he hadn’t seen ice time since May 20 in the opening round against the Panthers.

Through four postseason games, Joseph has three shots on goal and has averaged 8:35 of ice time, also dishing out 14 hits and blocking two shots.
