While the Lightning were in Toronto for Game 5, fans gathered to watch them play back home.
Hockey fans gathered at the St. Pete Pier for a watch party as the Tampa Bay Lightning battled the Toronto Maple Leafs in a do-or-die Game 5 during the first round of the NHL playoffs on Thursday night. The Lightning managed to pull within a game back of Toronto, beating the Leafs 4-2. Game 6, another possible elimination match for the Lightning, will be back in Tampa on Saturday.
