TAMPA — It’s only Day 7 without sports and for most people, it feels like a lifetime ago that anything and everything sports-related was canceled in the wake of the coronavirus concerns.

But there’s always new ways to pass the time. Or: boredom led us all to this.

Rays left-handed pitcher (and former USF alum) Shane McClanahan “met” his sister on Day 3.

And the sports world couldn’t get enough of one user’s “Marble1” race. And yes, there’s a winner.

One Twitter user has been forced to play cards with his dog, Duke.

And apparently the betting world has defaulted to gambling on the weather.

One hockey fan has decided to wear sweaters around his house to feel like he’s in an arena again.

Marc Andre-Fleury’s wife, Véronique LaRose, even posted on her Instagram story that she was happy her husband has used his time off for some home improvement tasks.

Sportsnet host Caroline Szwed has tried the “toilet paper challenge” as part of her social distancing efforts. She’s up to 16 now.

Retired NFL defensive end Marcellus Wiley is training his son, Marcellus Wiley Jr., for the 2038 combine.

Some people who haven’t indulged themselves in marble racing, have found some joy in watching professional tag. Yes, this apparently exists.

And there’s always a good game of corn hole, too.
