The seats inside Amalie Arena won't remain empty for much longer. The Raptors will open the arena to a limited capacity of 3,500 fans for their remaining regular-season home games, beginning with their March 19 contest against the Utah Jazz.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public Thursday. A presale will take place on Wednesday.
“Look what we made happen, what our voices made possible,” James said in a new 51-second ad spot.
Toronto has lost four of five as the NBA heads into the All-Star break.
Toronto was without three of its top four scorers because of the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Coach Nick Nurse and most of his staff also were held out again.
