UPDATE, 7:07: C Michael Perez was scratched from the Rays lineup shortly before first pitch due to right oblique soreness. Mike Zunino replaced him.

UPDATE, 5:03: OF Austin Meadows is on track to rejoin the Rays Friday, testing his previously sprained right thumb in an extended spring game Tuesday and feeling good enough to do so again Wednesday. ... INF Matt Duffy’s rehab is on a slight pause and he wants to make sure he feels 100 percent in coming back from back and hamstring injuries. .. RHP Hunter Wood threw a bullpen today and said his shoulder feels fine, with plans to pitch in a minor-league or extended spring game Friday and hoping to rejoin the team when eligible on Sunday.
