This may be the Tampa Bay Rays’ biggest marketing idea yet — an inflatable Snell-Zilla.

A mascot, inspired by Cy Young award winner Blake Snell and his nickname, was seen roaming the outfield at Tropicana Field on Wednesday prior to the Rays’ 1:05 p.m. game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Snell pitched six innings scoreless innings of one-hit ball on Monday. The Rays gave away a Snell-Zilla bobblehead earlier this season and a Snell replica jersey is the July 20 giveaway item.
