DEVELOPING: The Rays are looking to make it a series sweep and a season-high matching five game winning streak when they take on the Blue Jays again tonight.

The Rays will have Blake Snell on the mound, which is usually a good thing, especially of late with a 1.48 ERA over his last four starts. Snell is 4-2, 2.63 in nine starts against the Jays, and 2-0, 0.40 in his last four.

The Jays are starting rookie righty Trent Thornton. Last time the Rays saw him he was giving up the 500-level homers to Austin Meadows and Brandon Lowe on April 12. Since then the rookie has gone 1-3, 4.35 in eight games. Overall he has 60 Ks and 25 walks in 55 innings.

Lineups when available.
