Game day report: Rays vs. Red Sox, 1:05 in Port Charlotte

UPDATE, 10:42: Charlie Morton is set to make his spring debut on Tuesday, saying though ideally he would “save” all his bullets for the regular season, especially coming off a career high workload, he also knows he has to pitch in the spring to get ready.

DEVELOPING: The Rays play their third game of the spring this afternoon, taking on the Red Sox at 1:05 at the Charlotte Sports Park, with TV coverage on Fox Sports Sun and radio via raysbaseball.com.

Yonny Chirinos will be on the mound to start for the Rays, with Oliver Drake and Nick Anderson among those slated to pitch in relief.

After making his Rays spring debut on Sunday in leftfield, Yoshi Tsutsugo will work with the infielders the next few days and is slated to play third on Wednesday.
