ST. PETERSBURG — The Rays are selling memberships in a new American League Champions Club that will provide members with premium collectible items, such as a replica league championship ring, and exclusive experiences, including Zoom calls with manager Kevin Cash and general manager Erik Neander.

Memberships are $199 and discounted to $149 for those in the recently announced Season Members program, which is being offered in lieu of season tickets.

Included items include replica versions of the rings and AL championship trophy, a Randy Arozarena ALCS MVP audio bobblehead and a commemorative wooden coaster, with quantities limited and delivery by mail in May.

Though not definite due to uncertainty around the game and plans for fans to attend, the Rays are still expecting to offer promotional giveaway items at some games.

Experiences include photo opportunities with the trophy at Tropicana Field and the Zoom Q-and-A sessions, with the potential for other team officials and players to be added.

“Going to the World Series in 2020 brought some much-needed joy and excitement to Rays fans,” Eric Weisberg, the team vice president of marketing and creative services, said in a release. “We’re excited to celebrate that success with the people who cheered us on throughout the year and carry that magic into the new season.”
