This will be Franco’s first big-league start, and fourth as a pro, at second as the Rays have Taylor Walls at short and Yandy Diaz at third.

ATLANTA — The Rays are looking to make it two straight wins over the Braves tonight, and their lineup will have a different look, with Wander Franco making his first major-league appearance at second base.

Franco, 20, primarily played shortstop through the minors and has started five games at third since coming to the majors.

The lineup configuration against Braves left-hander Max Fried is interesting, with right-handed hitting Yandy Diaz at third and lefty Ji-Man Choi at first.

The Rays are starting second-year lefty Josh Fleming and are expected to be aggressive in using their bullpen.

The Braves made a late-night addition in acquiring former Rays catcher Stephen Vogt from Arizona for a minor-leaguer.
