The Rays are looking to extend their dominance over the Orioles tonight and will send reliever Drew Rasmussen to the mound for the second “official” start of his young career.

Rasmussen, who worked four innings and threw 50 pitches against the Red Sox Thursday, will be in line for a similar workload tonight. Manager Kevin Cash said there was a chance Rasmussen could keep a place in the rotation, though that will depend on the status of several other pitchers as well as how he does.

The Rays have won 12 of 13 games this season against the Orioles, who have lost 12 straight. Baltimore will have its top starter, lefty John Means, on the mound. Tampa Bay will have right-handed hitter Yandy Diaz back in its lineup; he had been sidelined since spraining his left thumb on Friday.
