The Rays are back at Tropicana Field today to open the final homestand of the regular season, a 10-game run against the Tigers, Blue Jays and Marlins.

Louis Head will be the opener for the Rays tonight, with lefty Dietrich Enns slated to work the bulk of the innings. Lefty Tyler Alexander will start for the Tigers.

After not initially announcing a starter for Friday’s game, the Rays opted to move up Luis Patino, who was to start Saturday but would be on full rest Friday. They will then use Ryan Yarbrough, who has been struggling, on Saturday either as a starter or behind an opener. Shane McClanahan, who was placed on the injured list last Friday due to a back strain, is feeling better and expected to be activated and start Sunday.

Calling up top prospect Shane Baz was a consideration, but he was dealing with a slight back spasm, which is why he was scratched from his Thursday start for Durham.

Also, Wander Franco, sidelined by a right hamstring strain, said he is feeling better and hopes to return sometime next week, though manager Kevin Cash said that would be quick.

Here is the Rays lineup for tonight:
