The demise of the Tampa Bay Ray’s split-season idea wasn’t mourned by many around the bay, but lots of questions remain for the future of the Major League franchise that has called St. Petersburg home since 1998.

With owner Stu Sternberg suggesting the team is back to ground zero in its 15-year quest for a new ballpark, we thought our readers might want to weigh in with their opinions on some of the question marks.

Where should the Rays play?

How much of a share of what is now estimated at more than $1 billion for a new ballpark should taxpayers shoulder?

Those are just two of the hot-button issues we’ve asked about in a short survey.
