ST. PETERSBURG — The Rays placed lefty reliever Jalen Beeks on the injured list today with right lower leg tightness, a similar issue that sidelined him earlier this season.

Dusten Knight was called up from Triple-A. To make room for Knight to be added to the 40-man roster, Nick Anderson was recalled from Triple-A, then placed on the 60-day injured list.

There also was a report today by WDAE-95.3 radio of a “physical altercation” between Randy Arozarena and Yandy Diaz in the stadium parking lot after Monday’s game. The Rays have not yet addressed the report.

Corey Kluber is starting for the Rays tonight; Tampa product Lance McCullers Jr. for the Astros.

Arozarena is back in the Rays lineup; Diaz is not. Both sat out Tuersday.
