The Gators might not be the only state school using multiple quarterbacks this weekend.

Florida State is expected to use Wisconsin grad transfer Alex Hornibrook in addition to starter James Blackman, according to reports from 247Sports and the Tallahassee Democrat.

“We have some plays and things where we want to be able to get Alex in, let him run some of those plays,” coach Willie Taggart told reporters this week. “Hopefully we get a chance to do that."

Hornibrook was a three-year starter for the Badgers, and Wisconsin was 26-6 during his. That’s the highest winning percentage ever by a Badgers quarterback. He also left the school with 47 touchdown passes, third-most in program history. He has yet to throw a pass for the Seminoles, who are 1-2 entering Saturday’s home game against Louisville.
