Florida State has finalized its 2024 football non-conference schedule, setting up the Mike Norvell Bowl.
Norvell’s Seminoles are scheduled to host his former team, Memphis, on Sept. 14, 2024, FSU announced Tuesday. Norvell led the Tigers from 2016-19, going 38-16 with a pair of top-25 finishes and the 2019 AAC championship. It will be the programs’ first meeting since 1990.
FSU also announced a game against Charleston Southern on Nov. 23, 2024. The Seminoles’ non-conference slate that year also features a Nov. 9 trip to Notre Dame and the annual rivalry game with the Gators in Tallahassee on Nov. 30.
“I’m excited for this group of non-conference opponents,” Norvell said in a statement. “Memphis is one of the top Group of Five programs in the country, and trips to South Bend are always special with the history between our two programs. Having these three opponents coming to Tallahassee, along with going to Notre Dame, provides us a challenging but opportunistic non-conference slate.”
With Tuesday’s news, FSU has finalized its non-conference schedules for the next four seasons:

Sept. 5 vs. Notre Dame
Sept. 11 vs. Jacksonville State
Oct. 23 vs. UMass
Nov. 27 at Florida
