Steelers CB makes play to save day
JACKSONVILLE — A week after a late-game debacle on defense against the Bucs, the Steelers showed they can finish.
Cornerback Brice McCain returned an interception 22 yards for a touchdown as Pittsburgh overcame a mediocre offensive day. McCain stepped in front of receiver Allen Hurns early in the fourth quarter, picked off rookie Blake Bortles' wobbly sideline pass and went in untouched.
"I like the way we finished, especially when you consider that we didn't do a good job of it (against the Bucs) and it cost us the game," coach Mike Tomlin said.
