Longtime USF women's basketball associate head coach Jeff Osterman has resigned to pursue other coaching opportunities, the school confirmed Tuesday evening.

The longest-tenured member of Jose Fernandez's staff, Osterman, 48, joined USF as an assistant in 2005, and was promoted to the associate head coach role two years later. Fernandez couldn't immediately be reached Tuesday.

Osterman's bio information already has been removed from USF's official website.

He becomes the second member of Fernandez's coaching staff to leave in as many seasons. Desma Thomas Bateast departed last April to join the FAU staff.
