USF reportedly has added some offensive line depth, adding Virginia Tech transfer Thomas Hopple.
It appears 247Sports had the story first. Hopple, not projected to be a part of the Hokies' two-deep chart in 2018, must sit out this season per NCAA transfer rules and should have two years' eligibility remaining.
A three-star prospect from Suffolk, Va., Hopple was ranked the 63rd-best offensive tackle in the country by 247Sports coming out of Nansemond River High in 2016. He also had offers from Marshall, Pitt, West Virginia and Virginia, among others.
The Bulls are set to begin preseason camp Aug. 3.
