The USF debut of RB Jordan Cronkrite has been delayed by at least a week.

Cronkrite, a University of Florida transfer who sat out last season, didn't suit up for Saturday's season opener against Elon. A USF spokesman said Cronkrite is sitting out as a precaution due to a minor undisclosed injury.

Also sidelined Saturday was fellow TB Duran Bell, a Hillsborough High alumnus. Their absences mean redshirt sophomore Elijah Mack and junior Trevon Sands likely will share the rushing load against the Phoenix.

Cronkrite was listed atop the initial Bulls depth chart released Tuesday.
