Bulls fans can catch their first glimpse of new offensive coordinator Kerwin Bell’s system when USF holds its annual spring game April 13 at 1 p.m. at Corbett Stadium.

Admission is free.

The contest will be the 15th and final workout of the Bulls’ spring camp, which begins March 19. The first 14 practices likely will be closed.

If third-year coach Charlie Strong sticks to his previous format, the Bulls will be split into offensive and defensive units for the spring game, with the defense earning points for three-and-outs, turnovers, sacks, etc.

Bell, who led Valdosta State to the Division II national title last season, is among five new assistants hired by Strong in the offseason. He inherits a unit that returns nine starters, including all five linemen who started the Gasparilla Bowl.

The spring game will be preceded by a street festival outside the Corbett Stadium starting at 11. Additionally, normal pregame activities will be allowed in campus lots. Fans are encouraged to bring blankets and sit on the grass berms surrounding the playing field.
