The Bulls have picked up their second verbal commitment in a week, this one from Lake City Columbia dual-threat quarterback Jordan Smith.A three-star prospect (per 247Sports), Smith announced his non-binding pledge Monday evening via Twitter, two days after 300-pound Gainesville High defensive tackle Gentle Hunt committed to USF.Excluding transfers, the Bulls now have three commitments from the Class of 2020, with Gaither inside linebacker Chance Coleman the third.A 6-foot-1, 180-pound left-hander, Smith passed for more than 3,000 yards (and 33 touchdowns) and ran for 445 this past season. In a Class 7A first-round playoff win against Neptune Beach Fletcher, he threw for 429 yards and four TDs in a 38-10 Tigers romp.He’s also a point guard on the Tigers basketball team.The current Bulls roster already features four scholarship quarterbacks including arriving freshman Jahquez Evans.
