USF formally has unveiled its 2019 football uniforms, which appear nearly identical to its 2018 threads with one significant exception.
The new duds are cooler.
Literally.
The Bulls will wear the new Adidas WVN A1 uniform, hailed as “the newest creation in the Adidas A1 uniform franchise, delivering advanced fit, feel and lightweight technical design for enhanced performance.”
Translation: These threads will be lighter and provide better ventilation. In a news release issued Tuesday afternoon, USF indicated it will be the only team in the nation wearing the WVN A1 uniform this season.

“We are very excited that in the second year of our partnership with Adidas, our football team will be the only one in the country wearing their lightest weight uniforms,” USF athletic director Michael Kelly said in the release.
“We look forward to the Bulls looking great and feeling great in the new lightweight, breathable material.”
Aesthetically, the most noticeable difference to fans will be a gold horn on each shoulder in a metallic “Framis” material developed in Israel.
An extensive photo gallery of the new unis can be found here, but don’t fret: The “Bulls” on the back of the pictured jerseys are for modeling purposes only. Players will have their names on their actual jerseys.
