ST. PETERSBURG — Officers are searching for an armed man who robbed a bank this morning and injured two people, police said.
The incident took place at about 9:40 a.m. at the Republic Bank at 6300 Fourth St. N.
The gunman entered the bank wearing a mask and carrying a gun.
No one in the bank was shot, but police said he struck two people with the firearm before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The two people he attacked suffered minor injuries, police said.
