Not every shop owner can boast that they've been in business for 42 years, but Marcia Warren can. Her Clearwater boutique, Warren's, has been a favorite for decades, which she attributes to changing with the times while always keeping customers' needs first.

Warren's first opened as a flower shop but has evolved into a one-stop shop for gifts for everyone from the party hostess to her teens, a long-time friend or stylish grandparent. The store carries a variety of brands that Warren selects from markets across the country. Some like Brighton, with classic earrings ($30) and handbags ($250). Others like Brandon's Bourbon + Bowties and Kendra Scott, with chunky and colorful stone bracelets and necklaces.

A strong supporter of small-business owners, Warren handpicks a number of artists and makers to feature, many with a local touch, such as Ella B candles ($27.95) that come in scents like Florida Sunshine (citrus tones), Clearwater (a touch of jasmine) and Honeymoon Island (beachy). Customers can personalize their gift — from a phone case to a coffee mug, Tervis or wallet — and other items can be monogrammed in one business day for $10.

Warren also hosts events. In addition to fundraisers and trunk shows, the boutique has Gift Lunches where customers get a free meal so they can shop during their lunch break, and brand soirees — a customer wears an item from a brand like Simply Southern, and they get a gift to take home with their purchases.
