Younger fans can get a free copy of the first chapter of Batman: A Lot of Li’l Gotham. Emerald City Comics in Clearwater will also have cosplayers, raffles, games and other giveaways 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday. 3 All the Hits of the ’60s: Speaking of history, this talk at Heritage Village on Sunday isn’t about rock music, but the popular music of the Civil War. Heritage Village, 11909 125th St., Largo. Free (donations appreciated). (727) 582-2123.

Free hot dogs, cake, face painting and an obstacle course bounce house. Noon-3 p.m. Saturday. 4015 Ragg Road. (813) 962-3220.

5 WMNF’s 39th Birthday Open House: On Friday, which is the community radio station’s 39th birthday, the station is inviting the public to celebrate in the studios. Get a tour of the station and meet the voices you hear on the air. You can bring a dessert to share "because it is a known fact that you can’t have too much cake," a station news release says. 6-9 p.m. Friday. WMNF Community Radio, 1210 E Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Tampa. Free. (813) 238-8001.
