Veterans Day: Salute national and local heroes on Sunday with Heroes Weekend in Gulfport, with a parade down Beach Boulevard, opening ceremonies and a beach volleyball game. Free. mygulfport.us. Ed Sheeran: The blockbuster British busker returns to Tampa Bay for the sixth time in seven years on Wednesday at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium ($37-$107). raymondjamesstadium.com.

Music: Buckle up, a loaded week starts tonight with ZZ Top’s Billy F. Gibbons at Clearwater’s Capitol Theatre ($55-$100). Country stars including Dylan Scott and Cam hit St. Pete’s Mahaffey Theater on Wednesday for the 99.5 QYK Guitar Pull ($55-$100). Then Thursday at the Mahaffey, rockers Daughtry bring their Cage to Rattle tour ($49.50-$95). Friday, Kiss lead guitarist Ace Frehley rocks the Capitol Theater ($35-$60), while Rick Springfield headlines an ’80s package tour at Clearwater’s Ruth Eckerd Hall ($60-$105). Also Friday, don’t you forget about Simple Minds, who’ll take the Mahaffey Theater ($40-$65).
