Celebrating the St. Petersburg Pier: As demolition work begins, Mayor Rick Kriseman will give a brief presentation. Brick pavers from the Pier, stamped with the image of the inverted pyramid, will be given to the first 250 attendees, and postcards with a print of an original watercolor of the Pier by Milton Howarth will be handed out. 5 p.m. Spa Beach and the Dolphin Parking lot on the Pier.
