African-American Heritage Trail Opening: VIP Garden Reception: This three-day festival marks the opening of the path featuring more than 20 markers detailing history about people, places and events that made the 22nd Street S and Ninth Avenue neighborhood St. Petersburg's most vibrant African-American community. 6 p.m., Dr. Carter G. USF Homecoming XVIII: Parade and After Party: The Running of the Bulls Night Parade starts on Holly Drive and ends in the Sycamore Drive lot. Expect to find food trucks, watch parties and other fun along the route. This year's after party in the Sun Dome parking lot stars T.I. and DJ TWRK.
