TAMPA — Who doesn't love free food? Who doesn't love pizza? Well, thanks to Little Caesars and some March Madness, everybody in the country can get free pizza today.

Before the NCAA men's basketball tournament started, Little Caesars sent out a tweet saying if a No. 16 seed beat a No. 1 seed, it would give free pizza to all of America.

If a #16 BEATS a #1 in men's basketball TONIGHT, you could score a @LittleCaesars Lunch Combo! #stayTUNED https://t.co/vHuy8315ee pic.twitter.com/jhq2yjdBu0

No. 1 seeds were 135-0 all time against No. 16s coming into the tournament, so it must have thought it was safe. But the unthinkable happened when No. 16 University of Maryland Baltimore County topped No. 1 Virginia.

Little Caesars stayed true to its word and will be giving away a lunch combo, usually a $5 value, for free from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The combo includes four slices of pepperoni pizza and a drink.

Because "CRAZY HAPPENED" with a #16 beating a #1 (!!!!), everyone in America gets a free #LittleCaesars Lunch Combo on Monday, April 2nd.
