The Simple Greek offering $1 gyros for St. Petersburg grand opening

ST. PETERSBURG — The Simple Greek restaurant is celebrating the grand opening of its new downtown St. Petersburg location with a $1 lunch special on Thursday.

To commemorate the opening, The Simple Greek will be offering $1 build your own gyro from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., according to its Facebook page.

The offer is only valid at the new St. Petersburg location, at 312 Third St. S.

This will be the national chain's third franchise in Florida and second in the Tampa Bay area. The first location opened in Carrollwood in 2017.
