We did our darndest to be as thorough with our USF coverage Saturday as the Bulls were with their 56-20 rout of Towson.
See if we passed muster.
First, our game story from the romp, where the Bulls had to overcome some opening night "bubble guts," as Quinton Flowers called it, before pulling away. Columnist Tom Jones also offered his take on the night (His summation: It's good to be Willie Taggart these days.).
Additionally, Jeff Odom and Aaron Torres offer a few things you might have missed from the 3 1/2-hour proceedings (See where Cecil Cherry lined up a time or two?).
And finally, our Towson-USF notebook touches on Marquez Valdes-Scantling's sparkling Bulls debut and a long-awaited moment for senior WR Alex Mut.
