Tribune Scholars

We invited the top 3 percent of graduates from Hillsborough County’s Class of 2021 to share their profiles, write essays and compete for scholarships. You’ll see they have a lot to be proud of.

Beating the pandemic was the topic of the annual Tribune scholars essay competition. More than 150 of Hillsborough County’s top high school seniors took part.

The writers are from Freedom, Sickles, Carrollwood Day and Academy of the Holy Names. Each receives a scholarship of $1,300.
