We invited the top 3 percent of graduates from Hillsborough County’s Class of 2020 to share their profiles, write essays and compete for scholarships. You’ll see they have a lot to be proud of.

Climate change is the topic of the annual Tribune scholars competition. Nearly 200 of Hillsborough County’s top high school seniors took part.

The authors are from Alonso, Wharton, Berkeley Prep and Freedom high schools. Each receives a scholarship of $1,300.
